For years, society on Earth grew and developed. Soon, technology was become larger and larger. Little did to humans living on the blue and green planet know that, parallel to them, lay a whole other universe. Of course, it had stayed unknown, for the only way to get there was through the Transfer Point at Stonehenge, or, as the identical formation on this other world was known as, the Halo Stones.
This hidden civilization had one main continent, known as Talent. Within this land mass lay a world of knights and magic, like the myths and legends told on Earth. In the forest, one could find Griffins. The meadow, unicorns. The mountains held dragons. And, lastly, a secret valley behind a waterfall was home to the pegasi. The continent was vast, but most of it lay as open wilderness. There were four towns, each different. There was also a school, Rune, which border the cliff above the sea. The inhabitants of Talent were not fairies, or elves, or any otehr humanoid creature, however. They were simple humans. Some chose to go into Knighthood. Some choose to attend Rune and learn spells and the magic of wands. Some chose to live as farmers or shopkeepers. Then, there were a special few, born with innate skills. These skills included understanding the speech of all creatures as well as the ability to control Nature's magic, magic which came from the land and plants. They had no need of wands, spells, or other magical items.
These rogues scared Talent, at first, until it became clear they were just more powerful than those who went to Rune. Then, one day, one of these rogues found out something terrible. Tears were forming in the border between Earth and Talent. This rogue told the King and all of the representatives of Talent. None believed him, except the headmaster of Rune. However, they didn't think him insane. They thought he was planning something, and so they killed him. The headmaster, knowing how dire the circumstances could be if what the young man had said was true, told all his teachers at Rune, who began to prepare the students, teaching them skills they could use to repair the rips.
The mythical creatures can feel the danger, the unicorns especially, as they came from Earth to Talent a millennium ago, to escape the hunters of their kind. One from each species has gotten a prophecy, as well. They were the wisest of their kind, and know better than to ignore it.
To those who are free
The mind shall be key
Forgotten as the past
Because history will last
What will befall Talent? Who will stumble through the tears and never get to see their home again? Join, and play your part. Become witch, wizard, or knight. Hide in the shadows as a mythical creature, or fear prosecution as a rogue. No matter where you stand, your role will be key on the survival of both worlds, or the destruction of them.
