Rothgar bitched the entire time as was the soldiers way. "Damn time travel! Damn Draca! Really Damn the guardians! I cant believe I am doing this!" As the doctor jumped on the fountain Rothgar kept the guardians away the only way he could since he had no weapons. His mental powers. Calling on his pyrokenises abilitys flames covered both his arms and surprisingly not burning the trenchcoat.
"Okey you murdering assholes" He yelled at the guardians surrounding them. "Stay back!" Swinging and arm it acted like a flame thrower and the guardians kept back from the shield of fire that Rothgar had going on.
"So you like killing pregnant draca eh?" Rothgar burned a guardian alive that go to close. "So you like crushing defenseless eggs while in the nest eh?" He sent out some fire that burned the ass of another guardian. "Its a wizard! Run!"
"Dim witted knuckle draggers." Rothgar yelled as they ran away. The fire on his arms died away and smoke slowly came off the trenchcoat arms. Just turning to see the doctor running off Rothgar yelled. "Aw C'mon! Where are you going now!" Not getting an answer Rothgar took off after his companion.

It wasn't until they made it out of the town-luckily unscathed-that the Doctor took time to talk. He spun and placed a firm grip on Rothgar's arms to hold him still.
You don't understand things yet. Not how they are for us. You can't go around doing whatever you want anymore, because it affects everything. You do one thing that isn't supposed to ever happen, something that changes a fixed point in time, like this city dying, to too large a degree and you kill the whole world, or worse. You could just as easily kill a whole galaxy now, just by changing something that should never be changed. Until you understand how time works--How it really works--You do exactly as I say and you do not get involved.

Rothgar listened to the doctor but he disagreed and agreed. "I will do what you ask. I want nothing to do with changing the past. But i think that it is a bad idea. What happened in the past happened for a reason. You braught us back here so you could tweek something? Do you have any idea what kind of effect that might have." Rothgar held up his hands. "I could very well disapear right now!"
Taking deep breaths like he learned in anger managment Rothgar said calmly now as he patted the mans back. "Listen old man. I like you. But Please, Please, Please let me know next time you plan to do anything crazy like that again. I have had all the excitement I can handle for one day. Lets just get back to the ship and OUR time okey?" As they were next to the wagon rothgar grabbed a bottle of alchohol and popped the cork to start chugging it. Hearing the roars up above the city He offered the bottle to the doctor. "Liquid courage to see us to the ship. I hope you still got breath to run pops"

I brought us here to help you escape. I just happen to attract the danger. 'S not my fault.
He replied softly, but didn't bother to run anywhere.
Now, stop expecting the Tardis to be invisible. She's using your expectations to strengthen her perception filter. She simple makes you not really want to see her. You'll get used it soon enough, and it won't affect you, but until then, try to open your mind a little more. The world isn't the limited thing you think it is.
He snapped his fingers and the door opened, and he stepped in, leaving the door open for Rothgar. He passed by the controls, into the twisting and turning of the various halls, and worked his way through the ship. He slipped into what he used as his room, eyes scanning the pictures. It was so long ago, and he was still a child or in previous regenerations, but that wasn't what brought the tears to his eyes. It was the planet in the background, with its red grass and orange sky and glass towers. She sighed sadly and sat on a chair.
Bring him home, old girl. I know you can do it yourself.
The ship whirred softly in response and closed its door once Rothgar was on board and it began to work the levers and dials itself.

Rothgar sighed. 'Okey, Okey, I will try to be open minded. But it wont be easy going against a lifetime of complacency." As he got onboard the ship Rothgar went to quick work drinking the bottle empty. Drunk and tired he fell assleep sitting at a desk.

It was hours after they had arrived back in Rothgar's time, and the TARDIS had been simply drifting as the Doctor sat in his room, staring at captured memories, thinking about everything that wasn't recorded. Finally, at the end of it all, he finally stood up and took Rose's picture off the night table and wandered back toward the controls, the frame clutched in his hand.
He placed it in a spare space that wouldn't be in the way and looked at it sadly for a moment. It was him and Rose, at a resort in the future. It was entirely enclosed in glass due to the type of light, which would disintegrate almost anything it touched in instants, but it had a beautiful, soft blue glow to it. Between them was Alexx, just seven years old and grinning. He ran his finger along it with care, then went about some maintenance, which he'd been slacking on, and waited for Rothgar it get up.

Rothgar was dreaming. It went kind of like a slide show for him. still images of happier times. Then he saw through his own eyes.
He looked down at his human wife and ran a hand through her blonde hair. "I love you Rothgar. No matter what the others say. I always saw the good in you" The memory flashed away and another came. He was sitting in bed with his wife now. "I want a child" he shook his head. "you know I cant give you one" She put a hand on his leg. "Then lets adopt" Rothgar turned his head away. "Like I'm going to raise someone elses kid"
With a flash the memory went away and a new one came. Alarms blared as he ran down a corridoor through the masses trying to get away from the calamity. "Warning Metoerite Impact detected, Lockdown of western halls intiated. Decompression in 2 minutes. evacuate emediatly" Rothgar shoved a security guard down as he ran by and up to a containment door.
Looking through the glass viewport he saw his wife along with other poor souls trapped in the damaged section of the ship. EVA! OPEN THE CONTAINMENT DOOR! Her voice echoed from out of the alarms. "Negative, opening of containment door will compromise the rest of the ship, Decompression of damaged section in 10 seconds" Rothgar started to bang his shoulder into the thick door. "NO! GODAMN YOU!" His wife put her hand on the glass of the containment door to mouth I love you.
"5,4,3,2,1, mark" With a hiss nothing but red painted the glass viewport. Human bodys did not react well to decompression. Rothgar went down to his knees crying. The memory ended and he woke up less then happy. He stood up to growl and toss the table. Picking up the glass bottle of alchol he drank earlier he threw it at the ship wall with a shatter.
Sitting down to stair at the wall he said to the doctor. "I want to go back to the ORION. I have a debt to pay.... To EVA..... and to that bitch Alaina who left me for dead..... I will kill them both. I will get K-9 as well while I am at it"

The Doctor looked up and stared at him a good, long moment. He knew what it was like to have a vendetta. But he still had to make sure that Rothgar meant it, for going back would probably mean some near death experiences. Seeing the silent rage in his eyes, the Doctor knew that getting even with EVA and Alaina was the only thing he could think about now. Much like killing the Daleks, no matter how much he despised killing, occupied the Doctor's thoughts. So he nodded.
Shouldn't be too rough. We're sticking to the timeline after all.
He said, twirling some knobs and pressing a singular button. Within seconds, he motioned to the door.
We're inside the ORION now.

Rothgar just stood up not commenting on how they got there so fast. He could feel his psychic energy growing with his rage. And to the doctors ships scanners. Rothgar was off the charts. Higher then any known timelord. The enraged Rothgar got off the ship without grabbing anything to defend himself. As far as he was concerned. He did not need weapons.
And that proved very true. Rothgar did not run. Nor move in any particular hurry. Any defences the ORION had sent his way was quickly extinguised as Rothgar ripped people apart with his mind. Containment doors did not even hinder him as those to were ripped open like pieces of paper.
At last when he came to the core where EVA's brain was he stood defiantly staring at the metal cube with flickering lights. "You are being Illogical Sargeant. Stand down. That is an order" It was the last thing EVA said as her computer brain was crushed into a tennis ball sized piece of scrap.
Alarms blared as all control over the ORION was lost. He felt the ship start to tilt awkwardly. She was going down and being drawn into the planets orbit over the ocean. She would burn up in minutes. A explosion from a tank knocked rothgar out and he awoke in the flaming ship that was hurtling downward to the planet.
A image of his dead wife appeared to him. Motioning Rothgar with her hands to follow. This time he was not hallucinating. It was a spectral entity. Though this. He did not know. Or ever would. Bleeding from his head and confused Rothgar followed her through the ship. She would dissapear only to reapear down another corridoor that made up the maze of the ship.
At last he came stumbling back to the doctors ship and his dead wifes figure disapeared. Stumbling into the ship and falling down Rothgar muttered. "It is done" he flelt the ship take off. Luckily just in time As the ORION started to burn up in the atosphere over the ocean.
Turning his head Rothgar saw Alaina standing next to the doctor. Apparenty his older comrade had saved her. Standing up to pin Alaina against the ships wall with his mind Rothgar very well intent to kill her. But that all to familiar voice came to his mind. Keeping him on the path of good.
"She was confused. Scared" Another darker voice came to his mind. "kill her. She left you to rot" Rothgar was at a pivicol moment in his life. Making his choice Rothgar lowered his hand and with it. The strong painful hold over Alaina left as well.
He sat down in a chair with a heavy thud. The voice of his dead wife fading now. "I always saw the good in you. We are whole again Rothgar..... We are whole.

Rothgar sat there ignoring everyone until the doctors ship picked up a jump signature and a crippled Federation fighter limping its way towards them. Rothgar stood up to push Alaina aside and looked at the ship information. "Its ash, Hes a good kid.... must have been on a patrol" The following radio communication was picked up by him.
"This is lieutenent ash on Federation Patrol wing gama, three niner. I've taken heavy damage. Requesting imediat fighter recovery and rescue. Come in anybody!" There was a crackle as he spoke further. "Oh god.... there were these death black ships. They came out of nowhere and slaugtered everyone. I can feel them following me...."
The doctors ship sounded an alarm as multiple unknown jump signatures came in. It was the Daleks. A carrier and destroyer warped out a jump hole right in the fleeing Ash's ship.
Ash's hold on the fighers flightstick tightened as black ships with red veins running all over it warped in his flight path. Explosions rocked all around his damaged ship. "Flak!" he yelled in the mike. "Is there anyone reading me! Where the hell is the ORION!?" Normally flak cannon fire would not harm a shielded fighter. But the explosive rounds kicking out shrapnel would tear a unshielded fighter apart in seconds. This is exactly what happened to Ash.
The wing of his figher was torn off by the Flak fire and he went spinning out of control to the blue planet below. "Oh god I'm hit! Mayday! Mayday!" Further communications would not be heard.
Rothgar just stared at the image of the black ships on the screen. "Ive never seen anything like them" What are they?" He asked as he turned to the doctor.

Rothgar quickly lost intrest in the mysterious ships. Typing on the keyboard he looked for some kind of distress beacon. The TARDIS found it.
Rothgar turned to the doctor. "We have to help him. Ash hates the federation like me. And he is the best pilot I know. He can be useful to us" The fact he survived a Daleks battlegroup was testament enough to his splint second reflexes and talent as a pilot. Well, HAD survived was more appropriate as they did not know if Ash had even survived the crash. But if he did. The TARDIS was well on her way to having a full crew.
Ash being the pilot. Alaina being the medic, The doctor being the scientist. And rothgar being the security chief. Assuming the doctor was going to oppose Rothgar stated quickly. "I dont care how high tech this ship is. Something no machine can imitate and that is the human pilots ability to judge and act." This in effect was true. Take the EVA of the ORION for example. When a AI was in charge of everything. Things went bad. I want Ash with us. We are going down there and getting him.

Fine, but nobody pilots the TARDIS bu me without permission. We've got to take it slow, though, let the gravity pull us in. The radars will spot us and me and the Daleks are far from being on speaking terms, ever since I kind of... well, now is not the time to go there.
Memories of Donna stopped him. A companion who could never remember her times with him, or she'd die. That's what happened when Timelord DNA mixed with human DNA, most times. Alexx had been a miracle in that aspect.
It's about to go very dark in here. Just sit still and be absolutely quiet.
He told the two, powering off the TARDIS. When shut down, it automatically went to the nearest gravity pull, which was the planet below. They'd get in the atmosphere, which would cloak the signal, and then turn it back on before it crashed. Little did he know, he would be a bit later than planned and would therefore run into Jack.
