Take it easy. I haven't been sitting back and watching all these years, but your body is going to hurt like hell. Even altered to change one being to another, not just change a time lord to a human, the Chameleon Arch packs a punch. Rewrites the DNA in every single cell, it does. Unfortunately for you, I've only manage one conversion setting past it's normal one. Lucky for me, Me 'n Alexx are no longer alone in the universe. Hold still.
He took out his stethescope and held it to Rothgar's left side. Heart beating fine. Then, what would seem strange, was that he moved it to the right side. He grinned.
Looked like it worked. This may just ruin your life in a way, but it stopped you from dying. You, my friend, are now a Timelord. Timelord DNA, the two hearts of a timelord, the regeneration capabilities, should you choose to use them next time you're dying...
He glared, though in quite a loving fashion, at the TARDIS as she shifted her shades.
Yes, I know he should know things. I was getting there, you impatient ship.
Now, there are three Timelords alive. You, me, and my daughter. That is thanks to the Last Time War, between us and the Daleks. They all burned, as did Gallifrey. I hold no anger against your people--They simply don't understand. The Daleks...They are the ones who don't deserve forgiveness. They are made to kill, their only thought is killing, they are the true enemies. And damn them, they survived the War.
Any questions on the history?

Rothgar groaned from the pain his body felt. He let out a small laugh as the doctor put the device to his sides. "he, its cold doc. Couldent you have breathed on it first? When the docotor was done he was taking the news of his transphormation pretty well.
Sighing Rothgar said. "I suspected some kind of gene manipulation. Back on the ORION Eva had me put through gene therapy like all the other soldiers. You know, to make us more effective killers"
Though I will miss the feeling of the wind under my wings. This is for the best I think. I felt more human then I ever did a draca anyway. Besides, I'm alive. I have no complaints
At the mention of the federation being his people Rothgar uttered. "Apparantly not anymore" A screen lit up and green coding took over the screen followed by EVA's voice. "Sargeant Rothgar. Report back to the ship emediatly with the research data. Have no fear. The actions of the security chief and the teams was irrational and rash. They have been disoplined accordingly."
Rothgars answer was pretty clear. "No" Eva's voice came back. "I sense cellular and gentetic manipulation on a catostrauphic level. Return to the ship so doctor Alaina may reverse it" Rothgar was tired of hearing her. Thankfully the ship terminated the unathourized communication.
"There tracking me...." he said in thought. "I need to get the nanomachines out of my blood. Looking around he raised a weak arm to say to TARDIS. "Hey love be a doll and tell me if you have any medical equipment that can filter the blood.A metal trapdoor above the table popped open and a needle attached to a tube came dropping down.
Rothgar took the protective plastic covering off to prick himself in the arm. "God I love this ship. If the doctor had not changed me to a timelord when we landed on the planet I would have changed forms and mounted you to work over your rear engine"
The thought was humurous all in itself. But no doubt the small ship would have recieved damage from it. The lights flickered and Rothgar assumed she was angry. He laughed to try and reasure TARDIS. "Hey! I was kidding!"

Oi! No nasty comments about my ship! I don't want her to go flying off to the end of the world! Once is more than enough for that, and even then it wasn't on purpose.
He glanced down the empty hall, eyebrows furrowed for a moment, then he decided against whatever her was thinking about--which so happened to be a possibility of changing his jacket--then flipped some switches, muttering about the ridiculousness of that afore mentioned trip to the end of time itself.
Stupid Jack Harkness, had to go leaping to hang on from outside the ship as it took off, send the poor girl into a frenzy...
He pulled a lever down and the blue light in the center column began going up and down and the sound of the ship flying could be heard.
Hold on. 'S a bit of a rough ride, but going back a hundred years should throw 'em off.

Rothgar smiled at the man. "hey, I'm a soldier. Dirty jokes are what we do. That and bitch alot about everything that does not go our way" Hearing the good doctor mention Jack Rothgar had to say something.
"Jack? That guy in the trenchcoat? Oh he is fine. Left him back on the planet." Rothgar scratched at an eyebrow. "though hardly under good terms. Him and your daughter were very upset about me coming after K-9"
Rothgars good demeanor took a turn about going back in time. His now brown eyes went wide as the ship started to move. "Woah! You can do that? Not even the alliance has that technology.
He closed his eyes expecting to feel something. Rothgar did not know what. But he imagined time travel was painful. Feeling the ship slow down a bit Rothgar slowly opened his eyes. "Thats it?" He sat up to test how his body felt now. Standing up on wobbly feet Rothgar started to unplug the cords from himself. "Hey doc. I Think I'm beginning to feel better"
Rothgar looked over his woodland camo long pants and black boots. Somehow they avoided getting blood on them. but his armored vest and shirt were ruined. Going to what looked like a closet Rothgar slid it open to see a tan t-shirt and a trencoat that looked exactly like jacks.
Rothgar put on the tshirt and trench coat to look in the mirror. "not bad... but something is missing" he looked in the closet again to find two pistols in a leather strap system. Taking off the trenchcoat to put on the leather straps and holsters Rothgar put back on the trechcoat to look in the mirror again. "Hmmm, still something missing"
Running a hand over the top shelf he felt something and took hold of it to find a pair of cool mans shades. Putting on the shades to look inthe mirro now Rothgar said with a smile. "Perfect, now that is one handsome mother fker Aside from the fact rothgar had brown hair and eyes. He could very well pass for Jacks brother.
He turned around to look at the doctor and tugged on the trenchcoat and extended his arms to the side. "What do you think?" Rothgar quickly put up a hand before he could speak. "I know, I am drop dead gorgious" He walked over to stand next to the doctor at the consoles and screens. "Well I guess your the brains and I'm the brawn. What now playboy?"
The first thing running through Rothgars mind was how his head was screaming for a drink. Those thoughts along with the next ones could be picked up by the doctor.
"I wonder if there were any good bars back on the planet a hundred years ago...

The Doctor smiled at first.
Why do you think they call us Timelords? Our ships travel through time and space, not just space.
However, as soon as he caught sight of the guns, his gentle, joking manner vanished. He went over and took them from their holsters.
No guns. Don't like guns. Too much killing.
Without a second thought, his sonic screwdriver was out and screwing with the insides of the guns so that they couldn't be fired, or repaired. The Time War, the deaths he had caused so willingly back then, haunted him still, hundreds of years later. Looking over at the door, he snapped his fingers and watched it swing open. Memories followed.
"And he'd just swagger off, back to his TARDIS. And open the doors with a snap of his fingers. The Doctor. In the TARDIS. Next stop: Everywhere."
"Spoilers. Nobody can open the TARDIS by snapping their fingers. It doesn't work like that."
"It does for the Doctor."
His eyes glistened for a moment as he remembered that day. The first time he met River Song, and her last meeting with him despite meeting him before. The day she died, so that he wouldn't have to. But she wouldn't want him to be sad, so a half smile tweaked his face, and he walked toward the door.
Now then! To find a bar. Love bars. Got all the things that really make a city. On the outside it's all posh people and their money, but it's not really a city without some scum, some alcoholics, some people who barely have enough money to drown their sorrows. You see what a city really is in the downtowns, the bars, the slums. All the miracles usually happen there too.
He pretended to not hear Rothgar's thoughts, how much he yearned for a drink. Even if he hadn't pretended, the Doctor wouldn't have really said anything. He could feel it, the turn of the Earth and the pull of the events that were meant to be unchangeable. The ones that, if changed, would cause the downfall of everything. The fixed points in history. There were always many, but they were never really overwhelming until he became a part of them. Then things got complicated. Of course, that's how he liked it. And going to the bar, however insignificant, was one of those dragging fixed points.
Right then. I say we just head this way and keep going 'til we find a place.

"HEY!" Rothgar protested as he watched the doctor ruin the weapon. "How am I suppose to defend myself? Guns are just as much a part of me as is these" He put both hands on his chest to make a face. "As these two hearts"
Rothgar could see he was getting nowhere and turned around. "Damn tree hugging pot smoking civilians...." At that thought he turned back around. "Speaking of wich. Getting high sounds like a damn good idea. He looked to a jar labeled ginger to dip a finger in and tasted it. He felt nothing. Doing it again he still felt nothing. He gave the doctor the most priceless look. "SON OF A BITCH! I cant get high off ginger no mores. Aint this a kick to the nuts. man I miss being a draca already"
Rothgar nodded his head in approval at the door coming open with a snap of a finger. Giving the doctor a playful soft punch in the arm he said. "Damn dock. You got this thing pimped out! The ladys must love coming here" As they got off the ship Rothgar stopped to look over his shoulder. "Uh doc? The ship. Isent it kinda like.... a bad idea to leave it in the open like this? I mean we dont want no rock banging primitive to get behind the wheels right?" The ship shimmered to disapear as its cloaking activated. "Never mind"
As he walked beside the doctor he saw a wedding ring on his finger. He looked to his and twirled it in thought over his dead wife. "You married doc?"

The Doctor glanced back at what, from the outside, appeared to simply be a blue police emergency call box. Oh, how he loved to brag about it in all its wonderfulness. He smiled, as he could still see it. He expected to still see it. The TARDIS had a perception filter on it--It would be seen, but not really register. He figured that, since Rothgar probably expected it to disappear under an invisibility cloaking, it would to him. Not to the Doctor, though.
He glanced down at the ring and smiled.
Was. But Timelords live too long. Her life flashed before my eyes and was gone in an instant. And don't look a single day older. Alexx misses her too, sometimes, but she wasn't ever as close to her mother as I was. Rose was one of a kind. When she died, I went back in time. Watched her grow up from a distance. She never knew I was there, but I couldn't help myself.

Rothgar nodded his head. "I understand. I lost my wife to a freak accident when a stray meteor got by the ships defense network and blew out the hull. She, well, was in that part of the ship. I never was very good with women. Why just recently a girl I had been dating for a year left me for dead. I planned on marrying her to. I guess once a convict always a convict. I saw a good in her that just did not exist."
Not wanting to talk about it anymore he patted the good doctors shoulders. "Now then, how about we go find someplace to buy some liquid courage eh?"

As they started walking, the Doctor looked over at his travelling companion. The first one he'd taken on a trip in the TARDIS since Rose died. Not even his daughter had been in the ship with him since that day.
I'm sorry. About what happened to your wife.

"Its in the past. Its better that people dont get to close to me. They always end up dying or betraying me" he replied simply as a town neared. "Now I have no idea where we are. And quite frankly I dont care. Lets just get a drink already" He put a hand across the doctors chest to stop him from moving.
Laughing at his own stupidity rothgar turned to him. "I was so overeager to get a drink that i forget one cruatial thing. How are we to pay for it? i hardly think they will take credits. And as of late I have not had any gold in my pockets"

They take gold...alright. I can work with that.
He replied as he began feeling around in his pockets. Smiling he pulled out a handful of coins. They were black, but he smiled.
Slightly psychic these are. They look how I want them to. Won't work on you, with you being psychic and all yourself, but it should work on everyone else.
He handed Rothgar a few, and slipped the remaining ones back in his pocket.

Rothgar moved coins around in his hand. "Alright then, I knew I saved you for a reason" he joked. Inside the town guardians were walking about. It took rothgar awhile to get use to seeing them all. His uncle after becoming kind disbanded them. Well, rothgar changed his mindset about his family after becoming a timelord. They were not really his family anymore. He had no blood relations now after the complete genetic reconstruction.
"This place looks good" Rothgar said as he pointed to a bar. Seconds before they entered a drunk was thrown out the window with a shatter. "my kind of place" He said with a snicker as he looked to the doctor. The smile went away at seeing he was not amused. "Yeah, lets find another place"
They found a more quiet and peaceful bar in an ally. It was more of a place for locals then the rowdy place they almost went into earlier. Rothgar went up to the bar and put a coin on the table. "A Vodka and red bull please" The bar tender looked at rothgar like he spoke a foreign language.
Realizing his mistake Rothgar muttered. "Just give me your strongest mead. the bartender understood that. "Ah yes, Mead we have plenty off" Cheering the glass with the doctor Rothgar took a gulp to ask the bartender. "This is good. By the way what year is it?"
The bartender replied. "366, The year of the dragon" Rothgar joked on his beer. "And the war?" The bartender looked confused. It was well known information. "The draca have all but been anhilated by the guardians. Praise to the gods. There entire wretched race deserved to be killed off"
Rothgars lowered lip shook for a second as he remembered the history classes. "And this town?" the bartender smiled. "Carna, the jewl of Rachis" Rothgar heard all he needed to about the town. Grabbing the doctors arm he forced him up. "We got to go doc"
Ignoring the doctors protests he finally stopped to tell him what the problem was. "We have gone back a hundred years. The guardian genoside of the draca race is at its peak. The remaining surviving draca are heading this way with vengence in there hearts and blood on there minds! The history books say this city was destroyed! No survivors"
Alarms started to ring on the walls and Rothgar looked to the sky filled with his FORMER angry ancestors. "Bollox...." He muttered.

-I just realized..Mai's still alive at this point O.O- The Doctor looked around as the alarms went off, uncaring.
It doesn't matter. It's a fixed point, and we were here. You can feel it, the same as I can, you just can't define it yet from all the other fixed points.
He looked up to see the storm of black dragons, but the blue and silver one caught his eye. It was different. It had a lighter build, obvious even from here.
I suppose it's a good thing I'm brilliant, though. We might just survive this.
He grinned, and began jogging...TOWARD the center of the fight. Needless to say, he was crazy.
The blue and silver dragon was still in the air, but he watched as a girl, a girl with wings, slid off and flew down to join the fight, taking out officer after officer.
Here's hoping this doesn't turn out like Pompeii. Having to choose between having the world die or having a whole city die was not the best moment I've been in.
He added, as if it really mattered. It didn't. He couldn't change the result, but perhaps he could save someone. Just one person. That was all he wanted, really.

Rothgar just shook his head. "What are you blabbering about!" As he started to run towards the fight Rothgar stared for a second to laugh and run as well his trenchcoat flapping in the breeze. Catching up to the doctor he said. "your a crazy old bastard I give you that. You know guns would have been real handy right now. Its a shame you LOCKED THEM AWAY" His voice dripped of sarcasm. But also a strange effection.
As they ran and Rothgar listened to what he said he yelled. "You were at Pompei!?" He had read about that earth history back on the ORION. "Oh now I know we are f@*$ed!
Rothgar turned around to see a angry looking draca coming from behind. "Run faster you old coot! We got a dragon on our ass and it looks hungry!"

How so? I saved a family and myself and Donna. Originally, every single person died. Of course, I kind of caused the explosion of the volcano, but that's really beside the point.
He dashed through the streets, fast as he could now.
Scuse me, Pardon me, oh! Watch the sword! Coming through. Sorry!
Needless to say, he was getting the weirdest of looks from everyone. Only he could manage to dive through a battle, not get hit, and actually say sorry while doing so.
The dying screams all around him drove him to this madness. He thought of Gallifrey. He had tried to go back, tried to save his people from their destruction--The destruction he had caused because it was the only way to stop the Daleks--but it had been no use. He was not letting that happen again, not if he could help it. He leaped onto the stone rim of a dry fountain.
Stop! Stop it, all of you!
Few heard him. Only one, the one who had lead them here, managed to catch his words. Mai. And it was a good thing, or she too would have died here, before she could get Khamar's egg to safety, before she could train him as she had done. Without her in the future, Khamar was as good as dead as well.
On angel's wings, she soared up, up to Nox and to safety.
He noticed. Noticed and smiled. He felt the pull. The pull away. He could do nothing more without bringing down destruction upon this world. He leaped down from his pedestal and began running back out toward the TARDIS.
