If we try to sneak through then they will certainly kill us. If we ask permission, we'll just likely be killed. That leaves a slight chance of making it through here alive. What do you prefer? A chance r no chance at all?
She replied, not even looking over at him, too busy looking for hidden dragons. Mainly the mini dragons and the pocket dragons, since they were much more easily concealed.

eeeeh, whatever you think is best cousin" He replied to stay close to her while looking around for any of his distant kin that were hidden and watching.
Hearing some rocks moving nearby he held onto his sword hilt. "I cant believe I'm saying this. But I sure wished the hunter was here. He would know what to do" He looks no older then us yet have you seen the scars covering him? I cant imagine the things Kujo must have seen"
Niko stopped to point to a cluster of trees. "Cousin! I saw something moving over there! No wait! Over there!" From the many directions he pointed it was obvious they were surrounded.

Take a deep breath Niko. Stay calm. Sudden movements often bring them to a more feral state, or so mother says.
She replied quietly, glancing around and dragons, who had been well hidden, began moving out of their positions and closer. Kit glanced around, unsure who to talk to. In the end, she simply spoke to all of them, trying to make sure she did not offend them.
Greetings, dragons of the north.

Among all the hidden movement a female voice came out. "Why have you come?" it was sort of horse like it came from an elder.
Niko stood forward and cleared his throat ready to speak. The voice sounded out loudly before Niko had the chance though. "Silence bastard child of the king" Niko ruffled up his shoulders. "You have insulted my honor! I challange you to a" He shut his mouth as he felt his cousin grab his sword hand that rested on the hilt.

Niko! Do you want to get yourself killed?!
She hissed at him, before lowering her gaze as a servant would lower their gaze from their master's.
Excuse my cousin. He often acts before he thinks. We simply wish to pass by peacefully, on our journey to explore the North. We do not wish any of you harm.

The horse female voice came back. "You should keep your cousin on a leash. But I can hardly blame him. Males are useless creatures outside of breeding. We will let you pass. If you give us him" Of course this was not an option.
Niko shook his head to his sister. "Kill them" the voice said. All of a sudden laughing young shadows came out of hiding. "I cant believe you fell for that Kit!" It was a young troublemaker that often gave her trouble before she left.
Rolling over onto his side the shadow laughed on and put a claw over his eyes. "you should have seen your face! HA HA!" Lying on his back now the young shadow waved his claws in the air in exageration. "Oh no please dont kill me! Im a scared little hatchling!"
Niko grumbled. To look at his cousin. They were in shadow territory. They were allys considering Kit grew up there with her brother, father, and mother.
OCC: I have to go soon.

Niko wanted to get these jokers back. "Oh you think that is funny? We have a hunter with us from the ancient storys" The young male named Kadja rolled over to laugh again. "You are hatchlings to believe such storys. Hunters dont exist. They dont come for naughty dragons that dont do as there told. There just a myth"

Kit simply smiled and shook her head at Kadja. So he was still causing trouble. It figured.
There's always an element of truth to the legends, Kadja. Or have you forgotten me already?
She replied with a smile, sending a spark of light back to the group, where it formed into a thumbs up before fading and the group followed after the two.

Kujo being the lonewolf who did his own thing was moving around in the trees observing the Kit, Niko, And Kadja. Unseen because of his cloaking device. His pet poked her head out of the bag on his hip to complain in a small squeel followed by clicks.
Kadja shot his head to the trees. "Do you hear that?" The air shimmered around Kujo and he stared at the shadow in curiosity. Kadja just took one looked and tucked his tail between his legs to run. "HUNTER! THERE REAL! MAMA!
Kujo was not sure why the young druac got so upset and fled. He just sighed to scratch under his pets chin and sat on the tree branch paying no mind to Kit and the others. As much time as Kujo spent in the trees one could almost think him part cat.

Kit looked up at him with a scowl.
You didn't have to scare him!
Then she jogged after Kadja, yelling the only thing that she knew would make him come back.
Get over here, you scared, snivelling, Light!
-muse died...but I'm thinking about having the Doctor drop in to return K-9 to Alexx, and possibly having her regenerate at some point in the future-

Kujo tilted his head to the side. "Fear can save a creature at times. To negate fear can and will often be a self destructive act. Courage is not the absense of fear. That is foolishness. True courage is being afraid. And doing it anyway. Let the whelp flee" His gaze followed after kit as she chased after Kadja. He shook his head to sit in the tree now petting his loyal pet. The druac on this world confused him.
Kadja kept on running now even turning back only to stop at the insult. Taking a deep breath and turning he faced Kit. "I am not scared" he said with what dignity he could muster. "I am just going to get the others so we may kill it"
With that he quickly turned back around to flee.

It would be a waste of time for Kit to chase him down. And it just was not in Kadjas nature to go telling others he had seen Kujo. For then it would lead to questions leading to how he ran away in shame.
Kujo told Niko and the others to go on. He did not want to go near a druac colony. He prefered to remain in the shadows. Niko had never met Kits mother before. But when he did he could only feel sorry for her. And her daughter who had lost a father. Niko. wanting to get more to his roots wandered off to explore as was in his nature.
It was nighttime now and Kujo heard what he thought was wimpering. Turning the infrared vission on his mask on he looked around until he saw a hatchling sitting under his tree crying. Kujo's first thought was why it was alone. Druac were never known to let there offspring wander far from the nest.
Jumping down he towered over the little infant and looked down at it. As it looked up at him. Strangly not afraid. He bent down to pick it up by the scruff of its kneck like a mother would to examine the child. "i want my mama" it cryed.
Kujo cradled the little thing in an arm to walk towards where he knew its clan was. "Be still your whining less you want predators to come eat you" he said coldly. He talked with it for awhile to ease the childs fear and dropped it off near the cave entrance. The hatchling went running in to its mother. "Where have you been!? How many times have I told you not to wander off! Have the storys of the hunters from the stars not been enough to keep you here? The childs mother chastised. "Are you hurt?"
The little one pointed to the cave entrance. "I'm okey mommy. The sad man saved me" The mother tilted her head to look into the darkness. "The sad man?" It the news of the missing child was not enough gossip. Word was quickly going around that Kadja had disapeared. His mother and father were almost ill from worry. Of course Kadja had snuck off to meet his girlfriend from the light clan. Playing with fire is what it was considering the hatred the two clans had for eachother.

Ashes ship, despite the fact it was not desighned for planetary reentry survived going through the planets atmosphere. in the dead of night his crippled ship looked like a fireball streeking across the sky.
Alarms sounded loudly in the small cockpit of the fighter. Breathing heavily Ash reached up to pull away the mouthpiece of his flight helmet. "Oh father who art in heaven, hollowed be they name" Ash started to pray as the ground below him started to come closer.
At last he went crashing into some woods breaking trees and leaving a deep scar in the earth as it slowed to a stop. Ash was uncounsious in the seat of the fighter leaning forward against the controls. The flashing red light and alarms still sounding loudly. The fighter AI was primitive and did not know the ORION was destroyed. So it activated the emergency beacon on Ashes flight helmet. The beacon was rather simple in design. Just a small light the blinked every second to show it was functioning.
Kujo was sitting a tree was as was what he normally did when the fireball of a crashing ship streaked across the night sky to sound loudly in the distance as it crashed. Typing away at his wrist computer Kujo closed the screen. he was not concerned with a pilot in the federation. After all, they did shoot down his clans ship....
Hisses could be heard around the downed fighter ship as more primitive brainless reptilian hunters came. Attracted by the smell of ashes blood. Ash woke up slowly and groaned. he could not feel his legs and probably suffered some kind of spinal injury in the crash. Shaking his head to get ringing out his ears from the fighters loud alarms. Ash let out a yell as a creature that looked like a velociraptor pounced on the glass of the cockpit. Grabbing the pistol on his thigh Ash started firing through the glass at the attacker.
The species of dinoasaur let out a cry to retreat. But they were clever pack hunters and soon many were climbing over the flaming ship. The loud sound of ashes pistol fire cracked in the night sending roosting birds to flight.

Kujo sat in the tree trying to nap when he heard something ruslting under him. A laser beam shot out his metal facemask to rest on Kits forehead. Realizing it was her the laser went off.
"What do you want druac?" He asked. Normally cold in his voice this time he spoke with some hint of amusment. "You should not be wandering around at night. Predators hunt in the darkness.... Wether he was refering to himself or other local predators was left for interpretation.
Pistol fired echoed in the distance and Kujo casually looked in its direction then down to kit. "you must be wondering what that is?" He took his pet reptile out its pouch to pet it. She squeeled in displeasure at being woken up but quickly started to let out rumbling purrs from her chest.
"A federation pilot was shot down minutes ago" he looked down to kit and saw her confused face. Thinking back to his conversations with Niko and what he learned of local ways he rephrased himself.
"A pilot is what you would call a rider. Except of living breathing druacs they ride ones of metal and iron. And unlike living breathing druacs, pilots are one hundred times more lethal then riders Feeding his pet a chunk of dried meat Kujo said coldly. "Best to let him be. I already detected a large predatory movement heading in the direction of the crashed craft.
More gunshots cracked in the night and Kujo looked in its direction then back down to kit. "But seeing as you never listen to me I imagine you will go running off to help" Putting his pet back in his hip pouch Kujo leaned back against the tree trunk in the tree. "Listen to my words female and listen well. Beware those who come from the stars. Some will come to protect you.... others to destroy" With that cryptic message said he paid no more mind to Kit.
Kujo would wait to see if anybody else appeared from the tunnels below.
Ash dropped the clip from his pistol to reload and start firing through the class canopy of his crashed fighter. Another of the raptor like creatures fell back dead. Already a good seven bodies were cluttered around and on the ship.

Kit actually did listen to him, for once. She had been curious, but not enough to go see. She'd always, secretly, been a bit afraid of fire. It was quite silly, considering she could breath fire, but she still was. She wasn't ever planning on going anywhere near that crash site, until the sparks and flashes stopped.
Jack wasn't quite so deterred. Of course, he hadn't heard the warning, but neither would he have listened if he had. He could quite take care of himself, too, though. And anyway, he'd dealt with more dangerous things than humans, or humanoids, as pilots often were.
It wasn't long before, pulling his trench coat loose from some bushes, he pulled out his pistol, an old one, but well taken care of. It worked still, and he wasn't letting go of it even if it didn't. He let off a warning shot at one of the reptiles, and they all looked at him.
Okay, I'll admit, the 'looking at hte same time' thing is a little unnerving, but either you leave or you die. I sugget you leave. This is all presuming you understand what I'm saying...
They didn't. Instead, half of them turned on him.
Ah well...Worth a try.
Within minutes, the ones attacked him were dead, and he had almost had to die and come back once, but manage to escape with a well aimed bullet.
With their number diminished greatly, the reptiles, finally showing some sign of having a brain, turned to leave. Likely getting more help, but, nonetheless, it would give them some time. Jack dashed over to the ship.
I'm guessing your alive, considering you were firing a gun.
Of course, that wasn't saying much. He could still be on his death bed.
