Vitae had been humming softly to herself as she finished sorting through and either signing papers or writing a note telling the sender she didn't agree and wouldn't sign it. She'd been working through the stack all day and, unlike most days, she had managed to finish before nightfall. Unfortunately, she wasn't about to get peace and quiet. Her office, on the main floor and near the square, had it's window open and she could hear excited whispers through it.
She poked her head out, after opening the window more to see what everyone seemed to be talking about and saw a strangely familiar shape approaching in the sky. She hadn't been expecting to see Vinnie ever again, but she slipped a claw through the necklace portion of his award that he had never received. She had hung it on her office wall, though she wasn't entirely sure why. It had just felt like the right place to put it.
Exiting the nearby door to get outside, she waited patiently for him to land. The guards were already pushing back the excited crowds. Word travelled much to fast among the draca.

Flying back Vinnie shook his head at the expected disorder his return would cause. Landing in the square ignoring all of his excited people trying to get closer he looked to Vitae and bowed his head. "My queen....." He wanted to say so much more. But right now. With all the people around. That would be unwise.

She motioned with her muzzle for him to follow her inside and went back to her office. She closed the window and shut the blinds. She figured he would shut the door behind him by himself.

Vinnie followed Vitae inside the office and closed the door behind him ending the noise from the crowd outside. Finallly some peace and quiet of sorts.
"I bet you are wondering why I am back" He said to Vitae. "I only just came to notice a few days ago that my mind and feelings were like a puzzle that needed to be put together. I am at peace now. That was lie. But considering the circumstances. He was at peace as he could get.
"I am sorry to have left. I failed as a king, and my dutys to you as a mate. It was selfish. It will never leave you again. I promis you." His voice sounded purly honest. Vitae would notice that Vinnie had changed for the better in the coming hours and days.Looking over to the stack of paper work he asked. "have things been out of control"

Just finished them, actually. But this may be of your concern.
She tossed the medal at Vinnie for him to catch. It had his name carved into it. While she waited for his reaction, she pushed the piles into a bit more of an order, and out of the way.

Vinnie was caught off guard by the medal Vitae tossed. Reading over the guardian medal that said "Champion of Alelea' he frowned to put it away under his scales. he would just throw it in the closet with the rest of his medals to be forgotten and added to a muesuem when he was long gone.
He tilted his head to watch Vitae. She was taking his appology rather well it seemed. But Vinnie learned a long time ago from past experiences that some women just liked to pretend things were fine when they were not happy. But he was not to concerned about Vitae being mad at him now.
"I am afraid I must leave for just a few minutes dear" I have to take care of some things. If anything comes up just drop by the room okey?" With that he left. He knew Alaina was dead. Even though he did not love her, and the most unexpected night they spent as lovers in his drunkeness. She was a friend. He had to find out how she died.
The first thing he did was call the medical university on a wisper stone. They told him she was offered a job as a doctor for the guardians. Following that lead Vinnie called the guardians. He was not happy with the lack of information they gave him.
Standing in his room and bouncing a rubber ball on the ground Vinnie said into the stone. "You tell me the information to Alaina's wereabouts are classified. Well since I am going to be your king in a couple of days this is a bad way to start things.... Especially since I'm considering my first act as king is to cut funding to you all" The mans voice came back rather quickly.
"Forgive me. This is all I can tell you. And I'm probably going to lose by job for doing it" Vinnie caught the rubber ball to turn it in his claws. "You dont have to worry about that. I will see to it you keep your job" The guardians voice sighed. "Well there is a secret medical R&D facility hidden in the rachis mountains. The administration there need good doctors. So your, uh, Friend. Was offfered a job. Unfortunatly a couple of days ago we lost contact with the facility" Vinnie heard the room door open and saw Vitae. He held up a claw to signal he was to busy to talk.
Vinnie resumed bouncing the ball and ignored his mate in the room. "What kind of medical research are they doing there. The mans voice on the stone said. "just hold on and let me get the files.... okey, here we go. "The osirus medical reasearch facility was founded before the great war after her sister facility under Elru was destroyed. Osirus is dedicated to medical research of unknown illness, cures and other such things." the sound of paper being ruffled came from the stone followed by the mans voice again. "And a military R&D facilty researching how to recreate what they call, the perfect soldier from blood samples and vetro infertilization methods." Vinnie growled. He had an idea whos blood they had. His, or his twin brothers. He had not idea what retro inferta whata ment.
"Who was the host that this project was based off of?" There was no answer from the stone. "Answer me!" Vinnie demanded. No answer ever came. Vinnie took the stone and threw it against the ground to shatter it and look at Vitae.
"I swear my first free act as king is to do away with the guardians. There more crooked then a country fence He sat down to rub the top of his snout with a claw. "Remember Alaina who we sent off to medical school? Well she worked for the guardians. She is dead now. Dont ask how I know. You would just think I'm crazy.... I want to avenge her death. And from what I have learned. This Osirus reasearch facility is the only place where she died and supposedly. The guardians lost all contact with it a few days ago. I have to Put alaina to rest and destroy those blood samples they have. A creature such as me must ever exist again. Not now. Not after I'm gone.

A captain on a lone class 2 warship looked at the mountains below the cloudcover. He looked to a man at a console and the holographic image on it. A storm was coming in. The captain turned to Johnathen. The indigo wolf commander that surivived the destruction of there capital ship.
"Prepare your men and women emediatly. Enter Osirus threw the cargo loading bay. The entire facility is in a lockdown. So you all will need breach charges to take down the containment doors. Once inside destroy everything. The reasearch, the scientists and doctors. the test subjects.... everything." Johnathen saluted and left to prepare his men.
The captin looked out the bridge window and sighed looking at the storm. He had been notified that Vinnie was nosing is snout in. There must be no evidence of the illegal experiments taken place by the time he got to Osirus. The captain had no doubts he would come.
The comms specialist listening in for traffic over the wisper stone turned in his swivel chair to the captain. "There is another SOS message sent from survivors in Osirus. Should I respond." The captain continued to look at the coming storm. The lightnging flashes visible throug the growing cloud cover.
"Tell them to stand by.... help is on the way"
On the side of a rocky mountain a team of masked armored indigo wolve commandos stacked up with there backs against the wall on both sides of a giant steel door. Jonathen motioned with a hand and a masked commando went to the door and started to set up a sticky charge on the door. It did not take long for the charge to explode making a hole in the containment doors.
"Okey men" Jonathen said now. "Our first objective is to set up a mobile command post in the upper office levels. Once we are set in and security is up. We will make a push down the access lift to the labs. Get your game faces on. We are about to enter a world of sh*t!" Moving in a tight formation. The squad entered through the hole in the iron containment doors.
