The first one is from Snipe, the second mine(yes, I actually had an idea for one).
Demons
They have about the same lifespan as a human, but it gets shorter each time they use a spell, because it uses their life-force, instead of just their energy. Of course, a way to give them more time, if their running out, is do do something called a blood ritual. They can store these blood rituals in things they carry, called blood books, which are leather bound books with an eye on the front. To use the stored blood rituals, all they have to do is place their hand on the cover and mutter some words in their own tongue. The books also stores spells, history, geography, culture, etc., though the pages look blank to anyone else. Demons are also resistant to fire. They are thought to be extinct in Alalea, much like the draca were until Khamar was found.
Keinyn(Cain-in)
Keinyn(the same singular as plural, much like 'moose') are large foxes, basically, able to be as tall as a small horse. They are endangered, as many kill them for their beautiful coats, which have rare properties. The fur is resistant to many things, some being water, fire, and weaker magical spells. It also keeps their minds permanently blocked from anyone trying to read their minds, making them hard to find, as you can't sense them. They're graceful and agile, able to get through some incredibly tight spaces, despite their size, and are usually as fast as an elf. They are loyal to the death if you find and befriend one, but the only time this is an easy feat is when they are young and inexperienced with the world. They are said to be prophetic, as well, and know many different prophecies. They come in pretty much any color, from normal colors such as white and brown, to less common colors, such as blue and green. -This may be added to-
