Disasters, Surprises, and Plot Advances Though there will be more commonly disasters, like a drought occurring in a city, there will also be surprises, such as the discovery of more dragon eggs, and they all will be posted here by staff. Azrael Rumored to have been created thousands of years ago by the gathering of shadows, Azrael is the complete opposite of Ladon's Taper. It has no market, few shops, and once it's dark outside, there is no light to be found in this desolate city, unless it is spilled out past curtains which are draped across windows. Moderator: Mai

Voltaic Voltaic was originally the ruins of a city filled with factories and labs. What little hints of science there are in Alalea, are all here in this city, which is small and holds few people. It's still in the process of being rebuilt, but it's a great place to hide out, since many of the factories are untouched, and easily large enough for a few dragons to stow away in if needed. Pyre Made of fiery-red rock, Pyre, though it has a great market and a large amount of people, always seems cold and heartless, with how every building is made of the same stone. Moderator: Mai
Ferro A mining town, Ferro has the most skilled blacksmiths in all of Alalea, with the exception of an elf, who is almost impossible to find, and it's even harder to get her to make you something. The battle equipment here is cheap, too, since the iron and other materials are so close. Moderator: Mai

Taper The city of light, there are millions of street lights, lit by magic and by candles. No matter where you go, the capital of Ladon is also bright, and there is always a light on. It has a large market that is set up year round in the center of the city. Moderator: Mai
Leith The main port of Ladon, and the largest port of Alalea, Leith has mainly a fishing and shipping industry. The town is large, and filled with many different shops, including shops run by scavengers who risk a trip back to Alagaesia now and then to collect artifacts, such as swords used by past dragon riders and kings. Zephyr A city named after the westerly breeze which blows across the gently rolling hills and the streets. Zephyr is a medium sized town, but calm and friendly. There is hardly ever any crime here. Moderator: Mai

Verdure The city named after the earth and the plant life of Alalea, Verdure is mainly a farming community, with a few blacksmiths who can make simple shields and swords, as well as shoe horses for anyone who asks. They have an annual market, much like Carvahall did. Moderator: Mai

Taika An underwater path in the sea leads to this place, the city of the elves. Rumor has it, this was the capital of Alalea before the elves went to Alagaesia, and there is definitely evidence to prove that. It has regained the status as the elven capital. Most of the wild horses of Alalea live in valleys on this fog-ridden land which appeared to be an island. Moderator: Mai

Nerina Alalea's own version of Atlantis, Nerina is a city that crumbled down, and is now underneath the lake that is in it's place. Nerina was said to have a population of people, people with wings and the ones who first found magic, and taught it to the elves. But, alas, only the elves know of this legend, and none of them know if it is true or not.
Over the recent years, Nerina has resurfaced, sunk again, and resurfaced a second time. However, it was also blow up and now all its residents have fled to Astoria, another Nerinan city that floats above the tundra. This city is now nothing but crumbling ruins, but it might be rebuilt someday. Moderator: Mai

Cinaed Forest Previously a large city that was burned down, the survivors planted seeds of trees in the ashes, one for each loved one lost. These trees grew into todays forest, and the ash has been blown away by the wind, leaving no trace except for artifacts found of Cinaed. Moderator: Mai

Caper River The Caper River runs to Nerina, a lake and land of ruin. The river itself has nothing very special about it, it just happens to be the largest river of Alalea known, and the only one that enters the lake. Moderator: Mai

Rachis Mountains Similar to the Spine from the lost Alagaesia, the Rachis Mountains are dangerous and most who enter never come back, though no one is quite sure why, and they don't dare enter to find out. Moderator: Mai

The Tundra Left unnamed since all but the Nerinan's think it to be unexplored. It's a large expanse of snow and ice, with underground caves, that can be entered through the single entrance, out in the middle of the Tundra. Moderator: Mai

Astoria Previously known as The Floating City, this city is indeed a floating island, that was originally inhabited by the Nerinans, after their population grew to too high a rate to live all in Nerina itself. There are rumored to be more hidden cities such as this one which also belonged to them. Moderator: Mai

The Underground Never having been given a direct name, the Underground is simply the tunnels and such that are under the Tundra and all of hte land past it. Rumors flood this area, that it is here that the dragon mutations of Alalea have hidden for years. However, no one has ever seen these special dragons, and so it is thought to be a bedtime story for the children. Moderator: Mai
Tarn A series of hills that lead into a small clump of mountains. They are home to the main herd of Pegasi, the herd known as the Alkana. The Alkana guard a special mountain spring which hold healing water, and it has never been found, nor have any of the Pegasi been seen. It is all thought to be rumor and legend. Moderator: Mai
